Why this exists
A huge share of job applications get filtered by software before reaching a recruiter, and most candidates have no way to know whether their resume is even being read correctly. Commercial resume-checking tools that explain this clearly are often locked behind a paywall or a required account. We wanted a version that's free to actually use, not just free to sign up for.
How it works
Your resume is parsed and scored entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server. The checks are based on well-documented patterns that real ATS software looks for: section structure, contact details, formatting choices, action verbs, and keyword overlap with a job description. There's no AI model guessing at quality here, just transparent, inspectable logic you can see the reasoning behind for every check.
What's free, and what isn't
Every scoring feature — structure checks, keyword matching, the full report — is free, with no scan limit. A one-time $19 lifetime upgrade adds PDF export, saved scan history, and removes ads. See pricing for details.
